We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & passionate individual with some b2b telesales experience for a part-time telesales position within our IT sales team.
IT experience is not necessary! We're looking for strong communicators that can develop their knowledge of the IT industry with us to promote our products and services to prospective clients.
Shadowfax are recruiting an IT Telesales Executive on a part-time basis to begin the growth of our company Sales team. The candidate will be working alongside our Account Manager to generate more business and grow our sales. The role will involve the candidate engaging with potential and existing clients, by telephone & email, to generate sales lead opportunities for IT products & services. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow the role and hours potentially with a view to going full-time and eventually taking ownership of client accounts and develop sales opportunities from the point of initial interest through to ‘closing the deal’.
Depending on the individual’s experience and capabilities the role may be expanded to include some marketing tasks such as maintaining social media & website blog content and generating email mailouts. The ideal candidate will be a confident, outgoing individual with a passion for communicating and building relationships with people. There is the opportunity for the right candidate to have a strong input of ideas towards the company’s overall sales & marketing strategy. The role does not require any prior specific IT qualifications or knowledge, but a basic IT understanding and interest is desired. In-house training is provided at the right level. As a sales based role, there is the potential to earn a commission package on successful sales/leads generated on top of the wage.
Shadowfax may look to potentially grow the role of the candidate into a full-time position if suitable for the candidate in the future.
Day to Day
Day to day tasks may include: Cold & Warm Sales Calls to potential and existing clients generating sales leads. Account management tasks, such as telephone calls and emails to existing clients. Sales administration tasks, such as placing orders and updating CRM system data. Marketing tasks, such as updating social media and blog articles.
Working Location & Hours
Based at our Head Office - Unit 5a, Chelmsford Road Industrial Estate, Great Dunmow, Essex, CM6 1HD.
Hours are flexible - around 16-20 hours per week.
Salary & Benefits
£14,000 pro-rata per annum. As a sales based role there is the opportunity to grow your salary with bonuses from generating sales opportunities.
We also provide in-house training for further career advancement, as well as a number of team activities & events (such as white water rafting!) that we encourage all staff to participate in.
Permanent Contract - Part-Time, Flexible Hours (16-20 Hours per week).
